The withholding certificate is a guide, not modelo 190

Someone who had tax withheld can ask you for a certificate. The one the app downloads is there to guide you. The official summary for the year is modelo 190, and it is filed at the Tax Agency.

What you are downloading

The app’s certificate summarises withholdings calculated from the data you have recorded, especially employee withholdings that feed modelo 111. Read it as a way to check amounts, not as the Tax Agency’s acknowledgement. If an amount does not match what you will declare, the modelo 190 you file is the one that counts.

Modelo 190 is filed separately

The official summary for the year is modelo 190. The app can calculate it and does not file it. Downloading this certificate does not send that summary.

  • Downloaded certificate: orientative.
  • Modelo 190: filed at the Tax Agency.
  • The download submits nothing.
