A Stripe or MONEI payment creates the invoice

If you connect your Stripe or MONEI account, a payment received creates the invoice in the app. The charge still belongs to your gateway.

The invoice starts when the payment arrives

The customer pays on your Stripe or your MONEI. When that payment arrives, Factura Fácil creates the invoice. It is not a quote and it is not a note that someone intends to pay: it is the invoice for that operation, with a series number. You are the one charging on the gateway. The app does not replace Stripe or MONEI.

It is recorded like any other invoice

The invoice created when you are paid carries the VAT of the operation and joins your series. If VeriFactu sending is on, the record needs the certificate and a connection; if the Tax Agency does not respond, it stays queued. Connecting the gateway is on the plans that include it. You see them on pricing. How it sits next to quotes and invoices you type is in the invoicing software.

Common questions

Does a payment that is still pending already create the invoice?

No. In this flow the invoice is created when the payment arrives in Stripe or MONEI.

Does Factura Fácil set the gateway fee?

No. The fee belongs to your Stripe or MONEI account. The app creates the invoice for the payment received.
