Electronic notifications from the Tax Agency
The General Tax Act requires many taxpayers to receive notifications electronically. An unread mailbox does not freeze a deadline.
Who receives them in the mailbox
Companies and many entrepreneurs and professionals must take electronic notification. The channel is the enabled electronic address, the DEH. If the Tax Agency leaves a request or an assessment there, the deadline runs even if you do not open the notice on the first day.
- Many businesses must use the electronic mailbox.
- The usual channel is the DEH.
- Leaving the notice unopened does not stop the deadline.
The app does not read the DEH
Factura Fácil does not open your Tax Agency mailbox and does not tell you what is inside. A form reminder in the app comes from the profile you set, not from a notice on the Tax Agency site.
Common questions
If I do not open the notice, does the deadline wait?
No. Not reading it does not suspend the deadline. An electronic notification takes effect even if you leave the notice unopened.
Does the app check the DEH?
No. It does not read the mailbox. Reminders in the app are not Tax Agency notifications.
