January, not the 20th

That January window is for filing. Direct debit for that quarter does not run until the 30th: it closes a few days earlier. The day is on the taxpayer calendar, and if the last day is not a business day it moves. Do not copy 15 April or 20 October onto January.

The reminder runs into January

Factura Fácil keeps the warning on the tax calendar until that January deadline, for modelo 303 and for modelo 130 if they are on your profile. You can generate the BOE file or the Pre303 and Pre130 spreadsheet, or copy the figures, and file with a certificate or Cl@ve. The app does not submit the self-assessment. The annual VAT summary, modelo 390 when it applies, is a different form and does not change these quarter dates. More in modelo 303 and modelo 130.

  • File from 1 to 30 January.
  • Direct debit closes a few days earlier, per the calendar.
  • Importing the file does not file the quarter.
